You know, I often notice that with myself when learning a new skill. I reach a point when it feels like I've got all the answers, but then putting it into practice makes me realize how woefully ignorant I still am. Maybe incompetent people can't make the leap to the second stage so never quite grasp that they only enough to be dangerous.
I suspect there's difficulty getting research subjects to discuss this, because of the guidelines of disclosure. "Please answer this list of questions, we're trying to figure out why you're such an incompetent fool."
Well,I guess it's all about where you may be in the pecking order,and a subject full of relativity.There is such thing as being a pro or a beginner at anything.Too many possible variables involved.
